The best thing about finally having blocks of free time not dedicated to school is that I finally get the opportunity to enjoy a few of the things that I normally wouldn’t give time to. These are some of my favorite things that I wish I had time for everyday.
Her Conference is a conference that was started and is hosted by Her Campus. Her Campus is a media organization started by three amazing women from Harvard, designed for collegiate women, by collegiate women. Throughout my blog here, I’ve tried to syndicate some of the articles that I’ve written for Her Campus. This quick explanation does not even begin to cover how much this organization has impacted my college experience. Her Campus has led me to pressure my passion while introducing me to some amazing people, so to say that I was hyped about going to Her Conference would be an understatement.
As I sit and reflect on how America’s founding fathers fought for no taxation without representation, the one prominent thought is that we, as American citizens, have a civic duty to be more politically aware of what is happening within our society.
