Originally, this was going to be a list of beach reads that I recommend. However, Florida has recently become an epicenter for COVID-19, so I’m not sure when the next time I will want to go to the beach will be. The result is that I have included more than the typical light beach reads (but those are fun, and I’ve included them as well). If you’re looking for a new book, perhaps you’ll find something once you finish reading this post.
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes also gives us some insight into how Snow thinks, what has influenced him, and possible causes of what led him to become the man we know him to be in The Hunger Games. It’s Self-Care Sunday, and it’s also day 3 of my blogging challenge. Now that I can finally do some unwinding with school being over for a bit, I wanted to take the time to share some of my favorite things I do to relax. Maybe you can relate to me on some of these things, […]
For today’s blog, I thought I would take the time to share these books with you, because your children might enjoy them as well. Of course, many children’s books have been published since then, but these are the books I enjoyed and loved in my childhood.
Today is World Poetry Day, and I wanted to take the time to feature some of my favorite international poets. Since we really shouldn’t be going out and about while social distancing during these Corona times, I went though and found some of my favorite poems that you can find online as well.
Today, I thought I would take the time and share what’s on my reading list during this self-quarantine. I’ll also be sharing other things you can do to fill your time, and how these things could be a little less lonely in a time when we’re trying to isolate ourselves.
